I have lived in three European countries as a professional expat. And in every single place I could see how difficult it was to integrate with the Armenian community. The Armenian embassy in that country has no clue how many Armenians are in there, what is their occupation, how can they be useful for the community and for Armenia etc. Neither the church takes the mission to unify people. There are clear layers depending on the time and cause of immigration. So you are either a descendent of the Genocide survivor and/or Dashnak, either you came during 1990s or you came to study/ work. So these layers live in separate bubbles and don't interact with each other. During 2020 war the ice has been broken and there was a period when these layers became transparent and people were looking all to the same place for the same goal. We should work towards making us all unified be it in Paris, in Brussels or in Moscow. I think Armenian embassies and churches can be helpful to unify the communities in each country be it via brainstorming sessions, cultural events, volunteering jobs or anyhow. My suggestion may sound not concrete, but as someone living in diaspora and someone who is looking for ways to be helpful for her country, I find this one of the pain points of our diaspora. I am one of the signatories for The FUTURE ARMENIAN initiative. I live and work in US. I have spent more than 50% of my life in US after moving at the age of 20. I think the 15 goals are a good starting point, but most importantly we need to think of the root causes that led us to where we are today and try to address them.
My view of things that have to be done to reach the 15 goals are:
Revive our education system starting from kindergarten. Work towards making sure the teachers and professors are the highest qualified and best paid jobs in Armenia
To stop and reverse the emigration, ensure basic requirements for life in Armenia are met:
Affordable and high quality Healthcare and Education system
Promise and fulfilment of dignified retirement
Safe military service through technology assistance and professionalism
Help diaspora to reintegrate seamlessly through remote connection then gradual linking and eventual repatriation.
My view of how this could be done is primarily through some serious government policies and investment projects including:
Create technology incubators or tax free economic zones (Digital Health and Biotechnology, Renewable Energy, High Tech etc) that would attract a lot of diaspora and foreigners professionals as well as capital.
Ensure the professionals from above are tightly engaged in education systems in Armenia
Use the outcome of the above activities to strengthen education and safety systems of Armenia
Invest the resulting outcome and value of the above back into economy and education to deepen the process.
These points can be broken down into further details and technicalities.

Only the state can unite the efforts of all Armenians, regardless of party, place of residence, and other circumstances. No public organization is able to do that. Our unification should be through the state mechanism. There is no other option.

Անհրաժեշտ է ուսումնասիրել Հայաստանում և Սփյուռքում հայության ամենաառանցքային խնդիրները և բոլոր միջոցներն ուղղել դրանց լուծմանը: Անշուշտ դրանք հիմնականում կվերաբերեն Հայաստանի և Արցախի անվտանգությանը, տնտեսության և գյուղատնտեսության արդիականացմանը, ռազմաարդյունաբերական համալիրի, կրթության, գիտության և առողջապահության զարգացմանը:

Հայաստանում և աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում, վերը նշված բնագավառներում գործող հայազգի ու հայերի բարեկամ ժողովուրդներից բաղկացած մասնագետների հավաքագրել և Հայաստանում այդ ոլորտները զարգացնելու աշխարհի առաջատար տեխնոլոգիական ձեռքբերումները Հայաստան տեղափոխելու և կիրառելու համար:
«ԱՊԱԳԱ ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆԸ» շարժումը Հայաստանի և Արցախի անվտանգային համակարգի ամրապնդման նպատակով պետք է նպաստի Հայաստանի ռազմաարդյունաբերական համալիրի զարգացմանը, բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցներով աջակցի Հայաստանի պաշտպանական համակարգի արդիականացմանը:
«ԱՊԱԳԱ ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆԸ» շարժումը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ԿԳՄՍ նախարարության հետ սերտ համագործակցելով` արդիականացնի Հայաստանի կրթական և գիտական միջավայրը: Սոցիալական ոլորտում գործունեություն իրականացնի թիրախային սկզբունքներով` կիրառելով զարգացած երկրների փորձը:
Մշակույթի ասպարեզում առանցքային դարձնի մոռացության մատնված ազգային ավանդությունների, ժողովրդական սովորույթների, մանկապատանեկան խաղերի վերակագնումն ու հանրայնացումը, կրոնական տոներին զուգահեռ ժողովրդական ավանդությունների պահպանումը, հայկական խոհանոցի հանրայնացումը, ինչպես նաև կրթական, գիտական, մշակութային ու սոցիալական ոլորտներում ներդնի զարգացած երկրների փորձը:

«ԱՊԱԳԱ ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆԸ» շարժումը արդյունավետ աշխատանքի շնորհիվ կվաստակի Հայաստանի, Արցախի և Սփյուռքի հայության վստահությունը և կդառնա համահայկական ազդեցիկ շարժում, որը ոչ միայն կհամագործակցի պետական, կրոնական և հասարակական հաստատությունների հետ, այլև նշված բնագավառների ղեկավարների և առաջնորդների համար կդառնա ուղորդող, վերահսկող, աջակցող, հավասարակշռող շարժում:
Պետական և ազգային կյանքին վերաբերող ֆորսմաժոռային իրավիճակներում «ԱՊԱԳԱ ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆԸ» շարժումը կդառնա կայունացնող, ներազգային կյանքում հաշտեցնող և ազգային վտանգները չեզոքացնող ուժ:
Շարժումը կարող է Հայաստանի և Արցախի անվտանգության և զարգացման նպատակով համագործակցել արևմուտքի, արևելքի ազդեցիկ պետությունների և միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ու անհատների հետ, ապահովի տարածաշրջանի անվտանգությունը, զարգացումը և կայուն փոխհարաբերությունները Հայաստանի բարեկամ և հարևան երկրների հետ:
«ԱՊԱԳԱ ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆԸ» շարժումը հայության անցյալի հիշողությունից և պատմական դառը փորձությունից ելնելով, կատարի հայության ցեղասպանության և հայրենազրկության պատճառների խորը ուսումնասիրություն, տարբեր պետությունների ու ազգերի հետ մեր փոխհարաբերությունները ՀՀ իշխանությունների հետ միասին կարգավորի` ելնելով այդ ամենի ուսումնասիրության արդյունքներից:
«ԱՊԱԳԱ ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆԸ» շարժումը համակիրների և գաղափարակիրների հետ քննարկում- հանդիպումներից բացի, որտեղ գեներացվում են արժեքավոր գաղափարներ ու առաջարկություններ, արդեն ժամանակն է, որ նշված 15 ուղղություններով գործադիր մարմնի կողմից քայլեր կատարվեն ըստ ոլորտների և անհրաժեշտության դեպքում հանրայնացվեն, որպեսզի համակիրները թե հայաստանում և թե Սփյուռքում տեսնեն շոշափելի և արդյունավետ գործունեություն ու դրսևորեն ակտիվ մասնակցություն «ԱՊԱԳԱ ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆԸ» շարժման ծրագրերին:

1. There is more or less complete data and statistics on the Armenian energy field from 2015-2016. This is one of the issues we should concentrate on – the availability of complete and transparent information.
2. In comparison to other countries in the region and those with compatible conditions with Armenia, according to indexes of energy security, energy consumption, and environmental stability, Armenia is left behind.
3.Data shows that during the past 10 years Armenia has managed to increase energy generation by 30%, in the meantime the energy loss was decreased as well. There still is much potential for decreasing energy loss.

5. Energy strategy 2040 drawn by the government includes 70 projects in 11 directions. The conclusion we drive from what we have analyzed is that the country needs to put its efforts into:
Developing industry with high added value;
Boosting energy security and independence;
Increasing operational efficiency and reliability;
Enhancing the stability of tariffs;
Improving transparency, reliability, and availability of data and statistics;
Setting long term ambitions yet realistic targets;
Making the most of the current global energy context to the country’s advantages.
6. Most importantly, the key here is to gather a maximum number of field specialists, have brainstorming sessions and proceed from there

I was born abroad, and I am the 4th generation to be born there, but the first language I spoke was Armenian. In other cities of my country, the communities are well organized, the children want to go to school, the camps are organized, but if Armenia has to do something, it should be done through "soft power," in the form of fairy tale books and materials. They should exist and be spread.
