We invite you to participate in the webinar entitled “From Origin of Life to Circular Bioeconomy. The Biobased Industrial Revolution” which will be held on April 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Yerevan time (GMT+4). The discussion will be held in cooperation with FAST.

Bioeconomy is the production, utilization and conservation of biological resources, including related knowledge, science, technology, and innovation, to provide products, processes, and services across all economic sectors aiming towards a sustainable biobased technology. With its diverse possibilities, the bioeconomy can make an important contribution to solving global problems. Like digitization, the biologization of the economy will trigger a profound change in all areas of society and industry. This includes the health and nutrition of a growing world population, their sustainable supply of food, energy, water and raw materials as well as climate and environmental protection. The change to such a “greener economy”, is not possible without innovations in life science technologies involving academia and industry from various branches as well as politics. This interdisciplinary approach will provide a smooth transition from crude oil-based industry to Sustainable Circular Bioeconomy taking into consideration the environmental issues.
