Online meeting with Ruben Vardanyan on “The issue of Artsakh is an issue for the 10 million Armenians”

On May 7, an online meeting was held with Ruben Vardanyan, co-Founder of The FUTURE ARMENIAN Initiative, and former State Minister of Artsakh, on the topic of “The issue of Artsakh is an issue for the 10 million Armenians”.

People who joined The FUTURE ARMENIAN Initiative and registered for participation in the Convention took part in the meeting.

The Convention was held in Yerevan from March 10 to 12 and the overwhelming majority of participants recorded by voting (92.7%) that the issue of Artsakh is an issue for the 10 million Armenians.

The participants of the online meeting had a unique opportunity to ask Ruben Vardanyan their questions and discuss the current situation in Artsakh with him.

In the opening presentation titled “Artsakh 2035: Free, Safe, Happy and Armenian”, Ruben Vardanyan analyzed the situation and presented the necessary steps to move forward.

Referring to the difficult situation in Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan noted that there is a need to work in two directions. First, to unite the people of Artsakh and strengthen the awareness that everyone is in the same boat. The second is the problem of involving the Armenian world.

“The Armenian world is in a serious crisis, but it is necessary to realize that the issue of Artsakh is not only the problem of the people of Artsakh, it is the problem of the entire Armenian world.” According to Ruben Vardanyan, Armenians have their roots in Artsakh, reminding that it is here that Mesrop Mashtots opened the first school.

Despite today’s geopolitical situation, Ruben Vardanyan expressed confidence that we have a huge advantage: willpower, talent, and persistence and that we can overcome the challenges.
